CHAI Assistant-Director Named One of Top Women in AI Ethics on Social Media

Rosie Campbell was named by influential technology blogger Mia Dand in one of her recent posts as one of the top one-hundred women to follow on social media for AI ethics. She was also invited to do a fireside chat about AI ethics by the author of the article. You can read about it more in the article here.

European Parliament Passes Resolution on Autonomous Weapons

European Parliament recently passed a resolution on September 12, 2018 which advocted for a ban on lethal autonomous weapon systems (LAWS), calling it a matter of urgency and demanding that meaningful human control is maintained.
