CHAI faculty and students regularly attend conferences to present their work and keep up to date on the latest in their field. During October 2018, we had many of our members attend conferences all over the world to promote their work.

Rosie Campbell was named by influential technology blogger Mia Dand in one of her recent posts as one of the top one-hundred women to follow on social media for AI ethics. European Parliament recently passed a resolution on September 12, 2018 which advocted for a ban on lethal autonomous weapon systems (LAWS), calling it a matter of urgency and demanding that meaningful human control is maintained.
