Alison Gopnik Wins Carl Sagan Prize for Science Popularization

CHAI affiliate Alison Gopnik has won the 2021 Carl Sagan prize for Science Popularization.
Prof. Gopnik is Professor of Psychology and Affiliate Professor of Philosophy at UC Berkeley. The Carl Sagan Prize, awarded by Bay Area nonprofit Wonderfest, recognizes researchers who “have contributed mightily to the public understanding and appreciation of science.” Prof. Gopnik has shared her research in child development through popular science books including The Scientist in the Crib and The Philosophical Baby.
