Brian Christian has been named one of the inaugural recipients of the National Academies Eric and Wendy Schmidt Awards for Excellence in Science Communication, given by The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in partnership with Schmidt Futures for his book “The Alignment Problem.” He will be honored with an event hosted at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC in November.
